Redpoll

I know it's been a while again, i'm going to try and do a few update posts over the next week - in theory anyway!

A couple of weeks ago I had a new visitor to the garden in the form of a Redpoll, it's only the second time i've seen one so nice to get it on home turf.

The garden has been busy with all the usual birds - House Sparrows, Starlings, Blue & Great Tits, Dunnocks, Robins, Collard Doves, Goldfinch, Blackbirds, the odd Magpie and Woodpigeons. The Starlings are nesting up in the eaves of the house as they do every year now. As always it's a joy to wake up to the birdsong at this time of year - even from the noisy Starlings.

Oh and we get this guy every day too.
