Bempton

I absolutely love a trip to Bempton cliffs, there's nothing quite like standing at the top listening to the din of the immense amount of seabirds you can see every way you look! Visiting at the end of May usually ensures you get to see Puffins.

Bemptons RSPB centre has been completely rebuilt this year, it looks fantastic and was already busy when we got there. I ended up renewing our membership with a family one. With that out of the way it was on to the cliffs.

Peekaboo

The cliffs are filled with Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Guillemots, Fulmars, Puffins and Gannets amongst others.

This Kittiwake was a little shy whilst the Guillemot was quite curious!

Puffins are always a highlight and trying to spot them is always fun.

Gannets for me are the bird, they are just stunning and I could watch them all day and there are certainly plenty to watch!

If you look closely at this one you can spot a couple of chicks.

Of course it's not all seabirds we saw Swallows, Tree Sparrows, Jackdaws, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Meadow Pipits and a Hare.

Definitely a place to visit if you're ever in the area.
